Weekend Recruiter

Louisiana Tech University is seeking a candidate to represent and recruit for the university in southeast or southwest Louisiana. This employee will work in the Office of Admissions as a regional employee living south Louisiana.

Manage recruitment activities within southeast or southwest Louisiana. This includes but is not limited to college fairs, private visits to high schools, presentations, and award ceremonies.

Follow-up recruiting with personal notes, phone calls, texts, emails, etc.

Visit with students and parents at determined meetings and locations or via online meeting technology.

Assist with on-campus events as needed and attend annual, on-campus training.

Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and CRM software; strong desire to help students; knowledge of all academics areas; extracurricular activities and university policies and procedures. Requires residence or relocation to south Louisiana.

Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally; Ability to assess past performance and brainstorm new and creative ways to meet goals

Requires overnight travel, work nights and some weekends
