We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient healthcare team in El Monte, CA. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with strong clinical and administrative skills who is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced medical office.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Employment Type: Minimum 6-month+ temp/contract role
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information.
Administer injections and perform blood draws (phlebotomy).
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing excellent customer service.
Maintain examination rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and organized.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
Current Medical Assistant Certification.
Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience.
Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.
Experience using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR).
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
