Description Dishwashers play an important role in delivering the superior service and atmosphere that is central to Eddie Merlot's. The Dishwasher is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots. In addition, a Dishwasher maintains the dish room and dish machine and assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen and restaurant as requested. Partner with Bussers, Runners, Cooks, Butchers, Managers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives outstanding food and hospitality.

Responsibilities Complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing. Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to learn about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets, or special events. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machine - using proper water temperature and measurements of detergent and sanitizer. Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated stocking and storage areas. Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift. Assist with cleaning and maintenance throughout the kitchen. Powers wash all floor mats. Assist with spot cleaning of furniture, floors, carpets, walls, countertops, and other surfaces throughout the building. Assist with storing food, equipment, small wares, supplies, and other stock items throughout the restaurant. Clean and perform routine maintenance to the exterior of the building according to the housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance schedule. Communicate information regarding requests, complaints, or ideas for improvement to Managers. Follow company policies and procedures, as well as sanitation and safety regulations. Prior dishwashing experience preferred. Manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items. High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic English communication skills. Able to work a part-time, flexible schedule that varies according to business need. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Able to stand 100% of shift.
