RN - Emergency Department (Healthcare)

Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Schedule: 3x12, variable shifts
Assignment Details: Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience
Previous charge experience required
Valid state license required
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Clinical skills: ventilator care, IV starts/maintenance, continuous IV sedation monitoring, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring
Charting system: Epic
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitor patients and update care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Compliance / Notes:

Traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Housing provided (typically 1-bedroom, traveler-only; no pets) and a vehicle for traveler use.
Pre-start modules required (average ~16 hours) to be completed prior to start.
