Weekend A PCU RN

Registered Nurse – Neuro/Stroke PCU
Schedule
Every other weekend required. No block scheduling. Holidays may require work per policy.
Assignment Details
36 beds; average daily census ~30. Ratio: 1:4.
Requirements

Minimum 1-year experience.
RN licensure in GA or Compact license required at submission.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Experience with continuous cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management of cardiac/vasoactive drips.
Skills in non-invasive and advanced respiratory support.
Basic knowledge of tracheostomy, feeding tube, and central/PICC line care.
Responsibilities

Provide patient care and support for a mixed population including adolescents to geriatrics.
Participate in rapid response and code team activities.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
Monitor patients continuously via telemetry.
Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.
Compliance / Notes
Must complete all compliance documents by the deadline prior to the start of the assignment. Pre-approved time off is limited to one request per contract.
