Delivery Person/Customer Service

Tuesday- Saturday 6am-715pm Variable based on need.
Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; Provides related customer service functions. Tuesday- Saturday 6am-715pm Variable based on need.
Additionally, they may be required to go help other stations in the area but will either be able to start at this station, or paid milage differences.
High school diploma/GED.

Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Please refer to policy 4-48 for exact job requirements. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have good driving record as outlined in policy. Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. In New Jersey, any compensable Security and Walk time will be paid to non-exempt/hourly employees at the state minimum wage.
