Physician Associate

Neurology Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Physician Associate to support Dr. Peter Bernad, a board-certified physician with extensive experience in pediatric, medical, and surgical care. The practice focuses on determining the basis or cause of a patient's problem and treats a wide variety of neurological conditions including epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, headaches, Myasthenia Gravis, tumors, strokes, Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhage, myofascial pain syndrome, closed head injuries, compensation injuries, and chemical toxicity to the nervous system.

Responsibilities include seeing patients in-office or via telephone, evaluating and managing patient's general health care, performing physical exams, identifying illnesses, managing acute and chronic conditions, requesting and analyzing laboratory tests, writing prescriptions, assisting with minor office-based procedures, and traveling between offices based on staffing and patient needs.

Requirements include a valid Physician Associate license (including a master's degree), 3 to 5 years of experience as a Physician Associate, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and technological savviness.

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits include health insurance after 3 months (paid 50 percent).

Medical specialty experience in neurology is desired.

Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm - Monday to Friday; 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday.
