Job Type: Pool Nights / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: 7:00pm - 7:30am - As needed
Salary/Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $42.00/hour
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse

State specific RN license
All pool staff, regardless of type, must be available to work at least 2 shifts per month to include the following holidays: Christmas, New Years Day AND One other major holiday: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day *Please note the 2 shifts will be offered based on the provided availability by the employee. Training is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday onsite and full days' attendance is required.

Summary of Job: The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN position also services as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
Guest Care & Advocacy :

Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.

Compliance & Risk Management:
Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred)

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.

# Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.

# If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations' driving policy.
If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
Travel required based on business need.
Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).

Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.

May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
