However, this contract is due to be awarded by the end of this month with anticipated start dates as early as the second week of March. This will be a years long project. There may be some remote work allowed but you should be comfortable working onsite at the DoJ customer location.
Job Description: The Program Manager will hold a key leadership role, spearheading the successful delivery of project management services within the organization. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Program Manager is integral in developing strategies that drive project excellence across technical domains. Leveraging a broad spectrum of industry knowledge, the Program Manager will navigate complex challenges and deploy innovative solutions that align with client objectives. Reporting to the Executive Officer for Information Technology, the individual in this position must demonstrate a formidable combination of managerial acumen, technical expertise, and the capacity to sustain a proactive dialogue with government leads.
Note: These positions are contingent on contract award.
Bachelor's Degree with 12 years' related experience or a Master's Degree with 10 years' related experience.
Proven experience in leading high-level project management initiatives.
Exceptional leadership skills with a history of managing cross-functional teams.
Effective organizational talents, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Expert comprehension of technical and enterprise information system frameworks.
ITIL, PMP, or similar certifications. Involvement in IT operations, especially relating to service orchestration and cloud migration. Adeptness with ITSM platforms, particularly ServiceNow. Experience in managing communications and compliance processes in alignment with Federal Records Management protocols.
Direct and oversee the project management team to ensure seamless execution and timely completion of projects.
Conduct high-level risk assessments for operational and project-based activities, advising OIT leadership on potential mitigations.
Foster the adoption and optimization of advanced project management tools, such as OIT's ServiceNow, to streamline resource allocation.
Ensure robust documentation and communication strategies are in place, utilizing platforms like EOIR's SharePoint or equivalent government-approved systems.
Provide mentorship and set performance benchmarks for project management staff, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
