Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Dietary Aide plays an essential role in supporting the dietary team to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.

Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.

Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.

Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred.

Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of residents served.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
