Traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.Plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentationITS or emerging technology projects following the systems engineering processServe in various roles on traffic/ITS projects.Work with Early in Career staff and help review technical work and project documentationDeliver assigned tasks on schedule and budget, while adhering to AECOM quality standardsCoordinate directly with other discipline groups within AECOM, as well as with external clients and sub-consultantsPerform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.Coordinate with Business Development leaders to capture project opportunitiesQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred QualificationsPreferred minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis in civil engineering fields such as traffic control design, traffic studies, ITS engineering, traffic staging within Agency and DOT standards and projects.Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain PE license in 6 monthsGood written and verbal communication skillsExperience using Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms.Good interpersonal skills, good command of the English language both, verbally and written, the ability to express thoughts clearly, good time management skills, and a good attitude towards work.Depending on your employment status, AECOM benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absences, voluntary benefits, perks, flexible work options, well-being resources, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.
