Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit requiring at least 2 years of MS or IMCU experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details

• Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
• Care for a diverse patient population including stroke, cardiac (preferably cardiac drips), post-op (ortho, GU, GYN, gen surg), and general medical patients
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements
Active WI or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) experience required
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Must be adaptable and able to manage a wide variety of patient conditions
Additional Information
Provide skilled nursing care to a broad range of stepdown/intermediate care patients
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
