Material Handler
Quanex is looking for a Material Handler in Allentown, PA.
This position is responsible for working as part of a team in the moving, replenishment, and availability of materials, components and inventory throughout production areas in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.

- What's attractive about the Material Handler position?
Transports raw materials, supplies and finished goods throughout the production floor.
Monitors inventory levels at production lines to ensure material availability.
Replenish materials and supplies in accordance with production schedules and operational requirements.
Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and supply concerns to appropriate personnel.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment as authorized.
Support shipping, receiving, warehouse and logistics activities as required.
2 years' experience driving electric and/or forklifts.
- Experience using inventory management systems, scanners or ERP systems preferred.
- Forklift Certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
The starting rate for this position is $19.50, with bonus potential.
