The posted compensation range of $61.21 - $83.21/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Staff Nurse
As a RN on our Float/Flex Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. To thrive in this vital role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Floats to departments as assigned and accepts assignments and duties with a professional approach so that patient hand off is done without interruption of care
Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways, which includes notifying physicians as appropriate
Formulates a plan of care for individual needs, including patient population needs. Participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options)
Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content. Integrates education during the delivery of patient care
Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems
Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience
1-year consecutive recent (within the last five years) Cardiac Telemetry experience or higher level critical unit experience. Associates Degree in Nursing

• Current California RN license
• Verbal and written communication and computer skills
