Part Time Or Prn Physical Therapist AssistantVertis Therapy is looking for a dedicated Part Time or PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our beautiful Assisted Living facility in Ft Wayne, IN. Vertis Therapy is a therapist owned company that provides ongoing support and training to our staff while focusing on quality, patient-centered care.Responsibilities:Treatment: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve safety, functional mobility, strength, and independence.Collaboration: Communicate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, response to treatment, and any changes in functional status or needs.Regularly lead community wide wellness programs and events.Qualifications:Education: Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license or license eligibility.Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.Technology: Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.Part-Time employees are eligible for the following benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) matchingContinuing Education AllowanceVertis Therapy provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
