Telework Availability: Salary Range: $1,485.00 per credit for MA/MS; $1,686.00 per credit for Ph.Labs are compensated at a rate of 1.5 credits per section.

Gonzaga University is searching for adjunct instructors to join the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for the upcoming semester. Teaching duties will include general chemistry lab(s). Ideal applicants will demonstrate a commitment to promoting inclusive and equity‑minded learning environments and the potential for excellence in teaching undergraduates from a variety of backgrounds and identities, including those historically marginalized in the sciences (e.g., first‑generation students, students from low‑income families, students of color, LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities). Total teaching load will be up to 3-5 labs for the semester.

Teach general chemistry labs, following the lab syllabus, sequencing, structure, and guidance provided by the Department Chair – Essential
Grade lab‑related materials, attend weekly meetings with the General Chemistry team, submit grades in a timely manner – Essential
Hold weekly office hours (amount determined in consultation with Department Chair) – Essential
