Registered Nurse - Respiratory Care/Telemetry

The Telemetry RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Cardiac & Telemetry Monitoring: Continuously assess and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognize arrhythmias, and report abnormalities to the medical team.

• Patient Care: Provide direct, bedside nursing care to patients with acute cardiac issues, post-stroke complications, and those requiring cardiac-respiratory observation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, neurologists, hospitalists, and support staff to ensure safe, holistic, and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records utilizing the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Valid, unencumbered RN license in the State of Virginia.

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience is highly preferred. Previous telemetry, step-down, or ICU experience is ideal.
