RN - Temporary - Night Shift

Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg
Location: Torrance, CA
Weekly Pay: $1,901.88 $2,237.50 / week
Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (36 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will provide direct, comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including pre- and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, develop plan of care, and evaluate outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and treatment plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Certifications:
AHA BLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
MAB or CPI Certification
LA City Fire and Life Safety Card
~ Compliance: Must complete LA County Employee Health Clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to assignment start date.
