Care Nursing

UPMC Northwest Hospital Seneca, PA Status: Flex full Time (28-40 hours/week) Department: Intermediate Care/Telemetry (2 North) Rotating day and night shifts required, along with rotating weekend and holiday assignments.

Clinical Practice & Care Delivery

Use the nursing process within a Relationship‑Based Care model to create a healing environment.

Develop daily patient goals and individualized plans of care.

Demonstrate strong critical thinking in assessing clinical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Communicate effectively with the care team and ensure comprehensive, accurate documentation.

Incorporate organizational and professional standards to improve safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Build compassionate, therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Professional Development & Team Engagement

Take accountability for ongoing professional growth and practice improvement.

Participate in shared governance, unit goals, and change initiatives.
