System Engineer who will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the design, development, and research of interfaces, ensuring that all subsystems are properly integrated into a fully viable, completed system. You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and constraints while assessing and monitoring system performance and providing feedback to a subsystem team of teams. You will act as an advisor to the customer, providing them with the results they need to inform mission critical decisions.

As a JR System Engineer, you will:

Collaborate with analysts, project leads, and customers to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability

Participate in trade studies to identify improvements in system performance, architecture, and software/hardware solutions

Contribute to engineering tradeoff analyses and assist in formulating Courses of Action (COAs) that consider operational constraints

Gather information to create technical documents that support project deliverables

Stay updated on agency, national, and international standards related to space systems development to ensure compliance and integration

Provide support throughout the systems engineering life cycle, managing risks and developing mitigation plans to guarantee mission success

Track project activities for systems engineering, software/hardware development, and deployment, ensuring effective command and control integration

Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

Understanding of planning and integrating secure solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives

Familiarity with development of requirements for system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security for mid-to-large-scale systems
