PT Weekend Welder

Job Summary As a part-time welder at ChuckIt Haulers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of waste-hauling equipment and vehicles. Key Responsibilities Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various metals, primarily focusing on vehicle and container repairs.

Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.

Ensure all equipment and vehicle modifications meet stringent safety and quality standards.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of welding equipment and tools.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company and OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications Proven experience as a welder, with specific skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Bring and maintain personal protective gear, including face-shield, gloves, and other necessary safety equipment.

Certification in welding from an accredited institution, not required, but is preferred.

Working Hours This is a part-time position. Hours are flexible but primarily needed on weekdays and during regular business hours. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
