Sales Associate
Lori's Ace Home & Hardware has locations in Fayetteville, NC and Surf City, NC. Locally owned and operated, Lori's Ace provides a superior customer experience and offer a vast selection of home and hardware products from premium national brands, including Stihl, Benjamin Moore, Milwaukee, Big Green Egg, Traeger, Yeti, Oakley and many more. Special departments in Lori's Ace include home decor and gift, patio furniture and a garden center.
The Sales Associate position could be full time or part time. This is a permanent position. No seasonal applications please.
Your primary responsibility will be to positively represent Lori's Ace Home & Hardware through proactively helping customers with their shopping needs and solving problems. You will receive training to become a knowledgeable advisor for our customers. You will also assist in the receiving, stocking and pricing of all merchandise, and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
Customer Service:

Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of wowing every customer, every time.
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
work well with customers as well as associates.
Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Store Operations:

Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
Assist with maintaining back stock levels.
Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.
Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and merchandise.
Assist with merchandise resets through the store.
Participate in store meetings.
Education/Training
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
Superior customer service skills.
Ability to learn store products and services.
Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
Wage: Starts at $14 per hour
