Help Desk Support/Technical Support - Remote

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Help Desk Specialist to join a DoD program that is fully-funded through 2028, supporting the Department of the Navy located in Kansas City, MO . The Help Desk Specialist will assist with end-user desktop support for a large enterprise network. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow within the Intelligence Community. This will start out as a night shift role, but after a few months the shifts will be open based on the candidates preference.

MUST HAVE COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities for the Help Desk Specialist include: Assist with IT support for devices/technologies including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones, and other network devices

Help resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues

Work directly with employees and officials to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Execute operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk

Meet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls

Required Qualifications for the Help Desk Specialist include: Must have an Active Secret Clearance

1+ Years of IT experience

Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher

Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and support for IT devices

Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist include: Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick leave as required by law

Salary: $50,000 - 55,000/year
