Surgical Pre-Op Registered Nurse

As a Surgical Pre-Op Registered Nurse, you'll play a critical role in preparing patients for procedures by delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care. You'll collaborate closely with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patients are informed, supported, and ready for surgery. This is a Part-Time (.50 FTE), Evening Shift opportunity that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility and balance in your schedule.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Prepare patients for surgical and procedural interventions

Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record

Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams

Delegate and oversee care appropriately based on team member competencies

Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives

Support a patient- and family-centered care environment

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Basic computer proficiency
