This is a temporary position for 1st shift. Material Handler Responsibilities:Package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrappingDocument packing activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entryMaintain stock of packaging supplies at packing stationsPick orders on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipmentPerform cart put away on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipmentObserve all safety regulations and promote safe working habitsMaintain good housekeepingRequirements for Material Handler:Able to stand / walk for entire shiftAble to lift up to 50 lbs repetitivelyAble to push/pull up to 100 lbs on occasion (team lift)Able to twist, bend, and stoop on a repetitive basisAble to learn internal software program and update inventory scanning devices and computersAble to learn to operate and safely utilize a variety of warehouse lift and product moving equipmentAble to add and subtractAble to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkersAble to work as a team member and to work under specific instructionsIND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
