Senior Mental Health Counselor

Wednesday-Sunday, 12 PM-8 PM (flexible). May be asked to cover overnight shifts as needed.
The Senior Counselor coaches staff in the delivery of services to adults with behavioral health challenges. Working under the direction of a Site Supervisor, the Senior Counselor will work to ensure that services are being provided at the standard set by Agency leadership. Counselor will serve as the supervisor in the absence of the Site Supervisor. Residential Counselors work, in a residential setting, as part of an interdisciplinary team providing restorative services. Our mission is to help our individuals live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Residence counselors provide assistance with living skills development, health maintenance and medication supervision, personal care, and overall community integration. Advocacy - Assists individuals with achieving personal outcomes
Health Maintenance - helps individuals receive medical care and communicates with medical professionals
Personal Care - Helps individuals with eating, grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
Living Skills Development - Helps individuals develop daily living skills -Mentor - Serves as role model, demonstrating the desired behaviors, and coaches the individuals using approved techniques and strategies
Bachelor's Degree
-Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in related field with a minimum 2 years' experience with related population
