Phlebotomist (Full-time, Lab-Phlebotomy

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Newport, TN. Monday – Friday, 8:00a.m. – The position may require travel to additional sites as needed.

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience as a phlebotomist.

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Job Standards Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary specimen collection.

Accurate data entry and record keeping.

Compliance with billing procedures.
