Dalton Owen Agency LLC in Kansas City, MO is looking for a driven Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. We prefer candidates who are already licensed and have insurance experience, but we're also open to unlicensed candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, and potential .

What You'll Do Connect with prospective customers and identify their insurance needs.
Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
Educate customers on insurance products, coverage options, and available discounts.
Prepare and present personalized quotes.
Follow up consistently with prospects and customers to develop opportunities.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and additional ways to protect customers.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Maintain accurate customer information and policy documentation.
Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve sales and service goals.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
What We're Looking For Our preference is for candidates who are already licensed and experienced, but we're willing to consider the right entry-level candidate.
Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
Active Life & Health insurance license preferred.
Previous insurance or sales experience preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Coachable and willing to learn.
Organized with strong follow-up and time-management skills.
Comfortable learning computer systems and new technology.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career.
Unlicensed candidates are encouraged to apply if they have a strong sales, customer service, or people-focused background and are willing to obtain the required insurance license.
