Janitor/warehouse(immediate start)

Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping the environment safe, organized, and spotless, ensuring a clean and efficient space for staff and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors and office areas as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policy.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.).
• Dust surfaces, racks, and fixtures to prevent debris build-up.
• Clean spills or hazardous materials promptly using proper procedures.
• Operate floor cleaning machines and other janitorial equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report restocking needs.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as assigned.

Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), standing, walking, bending, stooping and kneeling for extended periods.
• Climbing ladders, reaching and using hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• May be exposed to dust, noise, and occasional heavy lifting.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided as necessary.

Qualifications:
~ High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets (SDS). • Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations is preferred. • Dependable and punctual.
