Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our fast-paced Emergency Room (ER) team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency care and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered services.
Position Details
Shift: 7P - 7:30A
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required. Candidates must possess the following certifications:
PALS or ENPC

ACLS

BLS

TNCC

NIHSS

Preferred Skills
CEN certification
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Experience with Meditech documentation system
Unit Specifics
The following procedures are commonly performed in the unit:
Conscious Sedation
Intubations
Behavioral Health Watch
Sepsis Protocol
Stroke Care (Tpa administration)
Chest Pain Management (Heart Alerts)
Dress Code
Employees are required to adhere to the following dress code:
Scrub Color: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only)
Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, nails should be clean and trimmed, no chipped nail polish
Hair: Must be off shoulders and in natural colors
Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos are evaluated individually
Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
