Server- Evening and Weekend Shifts

SERVER — SAMI & SUSU Sami & Susu is a 19-seat Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant and natural wine bar on the Lower East Side, and we’re looking for a server to join our team.

We’re a small restaurant, which means our servers are an important part of the entire experience. We’re looking for someone who is warm, confident and genuinely enjoys taking care of people — without making hospitality feel scripted or overly formal.

Our menu is seasonal and rooted in Mediterranean cooking, with a strong natural wine program. We want someone who is curious about food and wine, comfortable talking about both, and interested in continuing to learn. Strong wine knowledge is a plus, but curiosity, good instincts and a willingness to learn matter just as much.

We help each other, communicate constantly, pay attention to the room and do what needs to be done to make service work.

15/hour + tips • Tips typically range from $250–$450 per shift • Shifts are typically 4–6 hours • 3–5 shifts per week • Benefits available after 3 months

Previous serving experience in a quality, chef-driven restaurant • Genuine interest in food, natural wine and hospitality • Warm, relaxed and professional presence with guests • Strong communication and attention to detail • Comfortable working in a busy, intimate dining room • Reliable, punctual and consistent • Someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
