Procurement Buyer (Manufacturing)

The Buyer manages day-to-day purchasing of outsourcing services and operational hardware. The role is responsible for placing purchase orders, negotiating prices and delivery, managing supplier relations, and working closely with Production Control, Engineering, Quality, and Receiving to resolve material issues and maintain accurate ERP data.
Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
Resolve supplier shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues while minimizing operational impact.
Partner with quality or engineering to resolve supplier issues or concerns, including timely returns to the vendor
Responsible for supplier performance and metrics
