Nocturnist Anesthesiology Physician

Job Summary: Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Nocturnist Anesthesiologist to join our team. This full‑time, W2 position is focused exclusively on night shifts (5:00 PM–8:00 AM, in‑house). The role is self‑scheduled, offering flexibility while maintaining a consistent shift window.

The position is part of a care‑team model with CRNAs averaging a 1:3 ratio, covering all case types except cardiac. The hospital handles roughly 50,000 cases annually, providing a vibrant and busy clinical environment.

Qualified Candidates

Board certified or eligible; able to obtain licensure in North Carolina.

Experience with a mix of procedures in a high‑volume facility.

Comfortable working within a team of 35 physicians and over 100 advanced practice providers.

Legal ability to work in the U.S. without restriction.
