Rain for Rent HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviews, & recruiting job applicants to fill exempt and non-exempt positions in a timely manner with highly qualified candidates.

As an HR Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing job applicants to fill exempt and non‑positions in a timely manner with highly qualified candidates. This is an on‑site (Bakersfield, California) in office Monday-Friday, full time position.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with company leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.

Maintain accurate candidate data in applicant tracking system.

Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.

Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house prospects to identify and recruit the very best candidates.

Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.

Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.

Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, includingthe use of various interviewing methodologies.

Prepares candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation‑setting.

Discusses hiring needs with department/branch managers to prepare and implement recruitment program.

Attends and represents the company at college career days and other recruitment events.

Projects yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control.

At Rain for Rent, in‑person work at our offices and/or branch location is a top priority because it allows us to more effectively collaborate, connect, and builds a workplace culture that drives our continued success. This role requires onsite presence at a Rain for Rent office and/or branch location. Except for limited circumstances, remote and/or hybrid options are not offered at this time.

Bachelors or better.

Bachelor's degree (B. Recruiting certifications preferred.
