Part Time Custodian page is loaded## Part Time Custodianlocations: Fort Walton Beach, FLtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR102313# **Title:**Part Time Custodian# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.**Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment**Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience:** No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:** May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**Bilingual a plusAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use**Supervisory Responsibilities**This position has no supervisory responsibilities.**Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
