Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Position
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill or surgical pediatric patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients.

Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in health status.

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Educate families regarding patient conditions, treatments, and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in PICU.

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.

COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Schedule
This position is for 12-hour night shifts and requires every other weekend and holiday commitment. A department-specific orientation will be provided.
