Homemaker, Senior Services (Full Time)

Morningside House of Exton is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and team members. This role is responsible for cleaning resident apartments, hallways, and common areas
Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in the resident experience, helping residents feel proud and comfortable in their homes while maintaining the shared spaces that bring our community together. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a friendly and collaborative team, and values building positive relationships with the seniors we serve.
Housekeeper - Summary: Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of resident’s apartments and common areas as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Plant Operations.
Available Shifts / Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Housekeeper - Responsibilities: Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
Housekeeper participates in annual cleaning schedules.
Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
Participates in energy awareness program.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Housekeeper maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
Housekeeper performs other duties as assigned.
Housekeeper - Requirements: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience in housekeeping/professional cleaning preferred.
Experience with senior living, dementia care, healthcare preferred.
This is an active position that requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of the hands and arms. The role also includes regular stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Employees must be able to lift or exert force consistent with the requirements of the position, including frequent lifting of 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
