Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Endoscopy\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Aug 31, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring an active Oklahoma or compact RN license and one year of endoscopy experience.Details\n \n Hospital setting in the Advanced Endoscopy unit\n 40 hours per week over 4 days, 10-hour day shifts\n On-call responsibilities required\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association\n Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred\n Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience required\n Advanced/interventional endoscopy experience preferred\n Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures\n Good verbal and written communication skills\n Additional Information\n \n Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents responses to nursing interventions and treatments\n Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments\n Obtains and monitors physiological data, intervening as necessary\n Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products\n Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge information\n Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate\n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible\n Returning workers may extend a contract one time for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying\n Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and does not allow push starts\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-746287.
