The ideal candidate will possess extensive oncology infusion experience, showcasing their ability to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities\n \n Administer chemotherapy and complex GI regimens to patients in an outpatient setting.\n Monitor patients for any reactions during infusion procedures and provide necessary interventions.\n Maintain accurate patient records and document all aspects of care provided.\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.\n Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and expectations.\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center.\n At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting.\n Experience as a traveling nurse is required (minimum of 1 year).\n Strong intravenous (IV) and assessment skills.\n ONS certification is required.\n Must possess BLS certification.\n Shift Information\n This position requires a 36-hour work week with shifts available from 7 AM to 7 PM, or 8 AM to 8 PM, on an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.Unit Description\n The Infusion unit encompasses a sixty-bed/chair facility dedicated to providing comprehensive care in the Division of Hematology-Oncology.\n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID #38089634.
