Janitorial and Cleaning

Performs routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, restrooms, escalators, elevators, stairways, and other areas associated with the assigned facility.Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings.Moves small furniture, supplies and miscellaneous as directed.Telephones should be periodically cleaned using germicidal and cleaner disinfectants.Vacuums area(s) on scheduled basis and according to a level of traffic/usageClean light switches, door and walls, tops of modular furniture and blinds.Clean and/or polish tables, benches and chairs.Locks and unlocks doors and windows to offices and other rooms as necessary. High school diploma or GED preferred; or relevant commercial or office cleaning experience in lieu of diploma.Six (6) months of recent commercial, office, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment, tools, supplies, and trash as required for daily operations.
