Oncology Registered Nurse Full Time Night Shift

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (Days or Nights available)
• No on-call requirements; weekends and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications:
Valid RN license; BSN degree preferred
BLS certification (AHA) required
ACLS certification required
Current Florida RN license or eligibility for compact state license
At least 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg Oncology nursing
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology and Med Surg patients, utilizing critical thinking and specialized knowledge in oncology
Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and provide expert support during chemotherapy and other treatments
Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during their care journey
