Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Weekend Night Shift)

Critical Care Nurse ICU

Nights with every other weekend required.

Manage up to two ventilated patients concurrently in a 16-bed unit with a daily census of approximately 13 patients.

Requirements

Valid RN license in the state or compact license required at time of submission.

Preferred 2 years of critical care/ICU experience.

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 is preferred.

Ability to manage ventilator settings and titrate multiple vasoactive drips.

Familiarity with arterial line, central line care, and ABG interpretation.

Knowledge of post-cardiac surgery care and CRRT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult and geriatric cardiac and medical ICU patients.

Monitor and manage patients' respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

Administer medications and blood products as needed.

Perform dysrhythmia management and interpret cardiovascular monitoring data.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
