A well-established, physician-owned primary care practice in the Metro Atlanta area is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its growing outpatient team.

This opportunity is ideal for physicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice focuses exclusively on adult patients and emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and long-term patient relationships.

Position Highlights

Adult-only patient population (18+)

Outpatient primary care setting

No pediatrics

Choice of 4-day or 5-day workweek

No weekends or major holidays

Light, phone-only call responsibilities

Physician-owned practice with strong clinical autonomy

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

Deliver preventive care and health maintenance services

Build long-term patient relationships

Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare partners

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coding compliance

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain

DEA registration or ability to obtain

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Excellent bedside manner and patient service orientation

Knowledge of ICD and E/M coding guidelines

Interest in long-term outpatient primary care

Candidates with ties to the Atlanta area are strongly preferred
