The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking ABA-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologists to join our team in a PRN academic faculty role. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, meaningful clinical practice, and the ability to make a direct impact through resident education and trauma anesthesia.

This position is well-suited for physicians interested in maintaining academic involvement while enjoying PRN flexibility. Faculty provide general OR anesthesia and Level I Trauma coverage , with schedules coordinated collaboratively to support departmental needs and physician availability.

As a SLUCare Physician Group faculty member , you will contribute to the education of medical students and residents at Saint Louis University School of Medicine . Academic rank commensurate with experience

General OR anesthesia with Level I Trauma exposure

Intraoperative teaching and resident mentorship

Optional involvement in research and administrative initiatives

EPIC EMR

Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA)

Eligible for Missouri medical licensure

Interest or experience in general OR anesthesia and trauma care

Commitment to high-quality patient care and medical education
