Position Details: Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd) Shift: Full Time (3 12-hr shifts/week) Schedule Options: 6a-6:30p Wed, Thurs, Fri OR 6a-6:30p Mon, Tues, Wed NO CALL REQUIREMENT This role will be responsible for directing and coordinating caregivers to support all phases of care for the patient. This position may have the opportunity to rotate between our inpatient endoscopy department (Outpatient Diagnostics) and Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute (Kathryn Ann Meinders)! Overview: The Charge Registered Nurse utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice. Qualifications: Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Experience Preferred: Previous Endoscopy / GI experience Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Why Mercy?
