Lynk is the inventor of satellite direct to standard phone technology aka sat2phone, and has the world’s only commercial license from the FCC to operate a commercial sat2phone system. Today, Lynk allows mobile network operators’ subscribers to send and receive text messages to and from space via standard unmodified, mobile devices. Lynk’s service has been tested and proven on all seven continents, has regulatory approvals in more than 30 countries, and is currently being deployed commercially based on more than 40 MNO commercial service contracts covering approximately 50 countries.

Our technology will enable all 8 billion people on the planet to stay connected with the existing standard phone in their pocket. Lynk is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing of satellites for our constellation. This role focuses on developing work instructions, defining process flows, and building test fixtures (jigs) to enable efficient and repeatable production. Lynk builds many spacecraft at a rapid rate, so the ideal candidate has experience working in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable translating engineering designs into clear, executable manufacturing processes. We are looking for individuals with experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and familiarity with CAD tools for fixture design.

Developing and maintaining detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and test operations

Working with technicians and engineers to ensure processes are clear, efficient, and manufacturable

Designing and building test fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production and testing

Identifying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements including opportunities to automate processes and develop/procure equipment needed to support this

Maintaining revision control and ensuring accuracy of all manufacturing documentation

Bachelor's degree in a STEM‑related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or similar)

Experience creating work instructions and process documentation in a manufacturing environment

Hands‑on experience designing or building test fixtures, jigs, or tooling

Experience with maintaining work instruction in MES software

Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
