Dietitian - Nutrition Therapy

WelbeHealth PACE helps seniors stay in their homes and communities by providing comprehensive medical care and community-based services. The Registered Dietitian works in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to develop and implement the WelbeHealth nutrition services program. In addition to delivering nutrition services, including conducting assessments and providing counseling to participants, the Registered Dietitian functions as a liaison between WelbeHealth and the food and supplement service providers, develops menus, and ensures compliance with all regulations pertaining to the kitchen and meal service delivery.

This role is different because the Registered Dietitian at WelbeHealth:

Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other IDT members to create holistic nutrition plans that aren't an afterthought, but rather central to participant care planning

Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)

• 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
• Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
• Conduct nutrition assessments to determine participant needs, preferences, and goals

Deliver and document nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders or as agreed upon in participant care plans, including but not limited to implementing specific diets and providing nutrition counseling to participants and their families

Oversee menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met, and that participants receive meals according to specified diets

Manage the nutrition staff, including hiring, training, overseeing, and mentoring

Registered Dietitian with at least two (2) years of experience directing nutrition services in a healthcare setting

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification required

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian that ideally has geriatric care or chronic disease management experience. Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus.
