Summary About the Position: This position is responsible for monitoring and providing highly complex advise and oversight to TACOMs Depots and Arsenals in the development and implementation of funding requirements established by mission, public laws, executive orders, and higher headquarters' directives relating to military construction, sustainment, repair, and modernization programs. Responsibilities Serves as an Organic Industrial Base (OIB) Modernization Program Officer within the office of the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS) G4. Manages all activities engaged in the acquisition of the modernization projects to include coordination with the associated Government agencies and contractors for the implementation of the project, and to plan, program, and budget. Coordinates with Government Organizations to include Financial Management, Logistics and Engineering, Army Acquisition Center (ACC), Program Executive offices and higher Headquarters to support the execution of AMCs 15-Year Modernization Plan. Serves as the integrator of the level of efforts to include Human Capital, Energy and Environmental, Cyber/lT integration. Conducts and/or directs highly complex reviews and initiates briefing documents which are provided to higher headquarters and other commands with recommendations on the best courses of action. In accordance DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level: 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
