The Security Officer II receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a full performance level technical security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces Kadlec, facility and security policies and regulations. and provides protective services to high risk areas. May be required to support any Providence or affiliated organization in emergent situations in the local service area.

Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours weekly

Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

2 years of Law Enforcement/Security/Military/Corrections experience, or related work experience in a healthcare setting, or relevant college coursework deemed important to the job.

1 year of experience working within the Kadlec Security department, passage of the Security Department SO2 Promotion Test, and the passage of a Security Department administered oral board.

Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, History, or English.
