LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team.
The Physical Therapist will support US Air Force fighter squadrons as an embedded asset under the Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program. You will help maximize the physical readiness and long-term health of fighter aircrew by addressing musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries, particularly related to neck and back pain caused by flight demands. As a multidisciplinary team member, you will be an important part of the injury prevention, performance enhancement, and rehabilitation aspects of fighter aircrew.
Design, Implement, and monitor individualized injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
Educate Aircrew and leadership on injury prevention, ergonomics, and recovery strategies.
Doctor of Physical Therapy from CAPTE-accredited program.
3+ years' experience as a PT in Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, Tactical (military), Aerospace industry, or similar environment supporting man-machine high-performance. Current (or ability to obtain prior to start date) healthcare provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). S. citizen to obtain Secret security clearance.
5+ years' experience as a PT in Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, Tactical (military), Aerospace industry, or similar environment supporting man-machine high-performance. Advanced Dry Needling Certification (Level 2) and Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Certification.
